The Secret to Rapid Relaxation and Stress Release
I received a question I often get:
“Riley, I know I need to deal with my stress and tension, but I’m so busy I barely have any time. Do I need to learn a whole system, or is there a way to do that quickly?”
One nice thing about the Bionic Mind Method:
You can take whatever “dose” you want.
You can learn a whole system and go deep.
Or you can go light, and still get a ton out of it.
That’s because the lighter exercises work on the 80/20 principle: 80 percent of the results come from 20 percent of the effort (like with everything). So if you only have even a few minutes a day, you can get real results — if you focus on the right exercises.
And here’s a secret not a lot of people know about releasing tension:
The best place to start is your face.
Because your brain dedicates a ton of brain tissue to feeling and moving your face. So getting rid of just a little tension in your face has a massive impact on how stressed your brain thinks you are.
There are other reasons, too, that I talk about elsewhere.
But it’s always blown my mind that so few mind-body systems do anything with the face at all.
It truly is the essence of low hanging fruit.
So even if you have just a few minutes a day, you can get huge results if you’re smart about it.
Of course, you have to know techniques that actually release tension in your face.
